The "Expat Experts"

About Stinne Bogh

Masters degree in psychology in 2005

Languages: Danish, English and Spanish.

With a background as a "third culture kid" growing up in both Peru, England and Venezuela, I have a personal insight into the life of an expat. I know first hand how balancing several cultures and languages can affect daily life, and which challenges it can bring into marriage, family and worklife.

Along with my personal background, I have sought out and worked with these challenges in many different aspects. As a psychologist in the danish department of the Red Cross, I have worked with young asylum seekers from around the world. As a teacher of clinical practicum at DIS (Danish Institute for Studies Abroad) I have worked with american psychology students in an exchange program in Denmark.

I have 13 years of experience working with both adults and children from the age of 7 and up, counseling both families and individuals.

The "Expat Experts"

Living in a new country can be a challenge for a family. For some, adjusting to a new language, new customs and new culture is second nature, while it can prove more difficult for others. My colleague Karina Lins and I bring qualified help to families and individuals who have chosen to make their home - temporarily or permanently - in Copenhagen.
